How to "turn on" Defensio?

Do I need to do anything special to "turn on" Defensio? What SPAM protection implementations are enabled by default?

Thank you.

Hi Matt,

You need to change DefaultSpamProtection in web.config to DefensionSpamProtection in line

<type type="ISpamProtection" mapTo="DefaultSpamProtection">

You also need to enter change what's inside constructor node to be consistent with DefensoConstructor. This is what's should be inside constructor (more or less):

<param name="apiKey" parameterType="System.String">
  <value type="System.String" value="YOUR-KEY" />
</param>
<param name="version" parameterType="System.String">
  <value type="System.String" value="version you're using" />
</param>
<param name="settings" parameterType="IConfigurationSettings">
  <dependency/>
</param>
<param name="httpForm" parameterType="IHttpForm">
  <dependency/>
</param>

Haven't tested that if it acctually works but this is the way you should be heading.

Paweł
