need help

Looking for help to install Kigg, I have tried myself to no avail and also had a programmer do it but failed as well, maybe the server is not correctly configured or missing something so I need somebdoy very familiar with kigg

What kind of error do you have?
What's the environment are you trying to install on?

Validate your server or machine capabilities against system requirements mentioned on the release page.

Have you tried deployment guide?! It might assist you

I got it installed, thanks, now my question is how does one administer it? Is there any place to create categories, manage users etc?

Kigg does not have(yet) an admin console

regarding Categories, you can add them directly to the database
Users are added automatically when they register themsellves
You still have the option to add them manually to the database too
There are three default users configured in Web.Config,

Thank you, I have added the categories to the dbase, but the menu is not automatically updated? (forgive me, I am NOT a tech and been using Unix till now...)

Also, as posted on the Issue tracker section, it seems I cannot delete stories either?

 

Finally, how does one go about adding for example 'blocks' to add adsense or other various text like you have in shoutout.net?
