Commented Issue: Cannot set url to use www [7147]

I have the problem with the application. I need to be able to access site http://www.sitename.com,

but it's always redirect to http://sitename.com. I have checked all settings (set root url to www.sitename.com) and couldn't find anything that could effect it.

any idea where I can change it?

After initial configuration. I'm getting this error. Searched whole project (WEB) couldn't find any reference to user "UserName".

Does anyone had the same issue?

So whats the deal withthe way the publishable story counts works- it nevers drops below 20. Also when i publish the upcoming stories it alsO re-publishes stories that were already published. Example - a story published one day then says published a few moments ago. Where in the source is this behavior such that i can fix it so the publishable count goes to 0.

I downloaded the release package for Kigg and installed it. Runs successfully on 4.0 runtime. However search *does not* work. Searching for any term takes me to the good ol' something unholy happened page. I see others had this issue and the issue was closed. It still is an issue so the issue needs to be reopened. If there is a fix please post it.

The items I submitted is not showing up under "storied posted by me" page.

And I don't think they are showing up on the upcoming stories list either. When I perform relevant keyword searches, I can't find them either. It's like they just disappeared into thin air. Yet when I try to resubmit them, I get a dup error message. Here are 2 examples.

It would be nice if you could rank posts by number of views in any category and if the ranking could have a time based system. Eg. Highest number of shouts in past day, highest number of shouts in past week... month.. and year etc...

Try to create a new story which refers to a page with charset windows-1251
and then retrieve content.
You can see that title and description keep unknown symbols.

Hi here,
Just downloaded the project as it seems to be a really good project to get my head around with MVC.
Here's the situation :
- I have VS2008 running + framework 3.5
- Installed MVC 2
- Downloaded the Kigg project.
- Trying to open V2.X with VS2008
- Every other projects in the directory loads alright but Kigg.Web.[ Error message is : Kigg.Web.csproj cannot be opened. This project type is not supported by this installation. ]

Question is:
- Is it due to MVC 2 ? Cause one of my mate could successfully open it using MVC + VS2008.
- How do I resolve it ? (other than uninstalling MVC2 and installing MVC)

Comments: Have tried it with the recent release! Because recent build was made with MVC 2.0 on VS2008. You issue was resolved long time ago actually, I wonder if you had the recent source code at that time. Anyway recent build and release works fine with VS2008 having MVC 2.0 installed.
